Site Investigation – Accredited Precision and Reliability  

 

At Geolutions, site investigation is the foundation of every geotechnical solution we deliver. Accredited under the Singapore Accreditation Council (SAC) as a Type A Inspection Body, we provide comprehensive inspection and monitoring services that meet international standards such as BS 5930, BS EN ISO 22475, and SS EN 1997‑2. 

 

Our accredited scope covers: 

  • Soil investigations – identification, description, and classification of soils under BS EN ISO 14688 standards. 

  • Undisturbed sampling methods – including Open Thin Wall, Stationary Piston, and Mazier samplers, ensuring high‑quality samples for accurate analysis. 

  • Functional testing – Standard Penetration Tests (SPT) and Permeability Tests to assess soil strength and hydraulic properties. 

  • Rock investigations – undisturbed sampling using Rock Core Barrels for reliable geological data. 

  • Instrumentation and monitoring – displacement measurement (inclinometers), pressure monitoring (piezometers), groundwater level monitoring (standpipes), and inclination measurement (tiltmeters), all aligned with ISO 18674 standards.
